Sea Salt Agave Butter

Try this simple recipe that keeps people coming back for more at Ironside in San Francisco.
Ingredients:
½ pound unsalted butter
½ t fine white sea salt
¼ t ground California red chili powder
4 t Nature’s Agave amber syrup
Method:
Whip butter in mixer with paddle attachment on medium speed for 5 minutes
Add salt and chili powder, mix long enough to blend in evenly
Steadily pour in agave syrup and whip on high speed for 3 minutes
Portion into 2 oz. ramekins and top with coarse pink sea salt or sea salt of your choice
